Haxter Returns To Petropolis 3

(Back in Haxter's laboratory, the princess was gagged by a white cloth that was wrapped around her mouth by one of Haxter's robots. However, that wasn't Haxter's instruction.)

Haxter: *angrily* "Metallic moron! I need her mouth ungagged for the procedure!"

(The robot immediately took off the gag and went away.)

Haxter: *groans* "Just because you're a genius, doesn't mean you can't make everything perfect."

Princess Kristina: "What are you going to do to me?"

Haxter: "This. *opens her mouth to insert a tiny spider-like robot inside* Just be glad my venom also has anesthetic qualities. That means you won't feel a thing. Of course, that all depends if I can find out the source of your magic before midnight. Otherwise. *shows his venom dripping stinger to her face and chuckles evilly*

(All this made Princess Kristina whimper in fear. Outside the lair, Bob and Mimi finally had a soft landing.)

Mimi: *deflates herself to normal* "We're here."

Bob: "Yeah. *hears something* Someone's coming, lets hide."

(Once the duo found a large pillar to hide behind, They saw two robots guarding the perimeter.)

Bob: *turns to Mimi* "Which method do you prefer: head-on or ambush?"

Mimi: *whispers* "What's a head-on?"

Bob: "Alright, ambush it is. Just wait here for a moment."

Mimi: "Okay, but be careful."

Bob: "Don't worry."

(Once the robots turned around, Bob got up behind them and bashed their heads together.)

Mimi: "Cool."

Bob: "Thanks."


(Suddenly, the head on one of the robots revealed Haxter.)

Haxter: "Happy New Year's Eve, Bob."

Mimi: *gasps* "Haxter!"

Haxter: "The one and only."

Bob: "What are you doing to the Princess?"

Haxter: "That's for me to know and for you to find out."

Bob: "This isn't a game, Haxter! If you let the princess go now, I can spare you some pain."

Haxter: "I'd have a feeling you'd say something like that. So, here's a little something I had planned for you."

(Suddenly, a trapdoor opens below us and we fall down below.)

Mimi: *falling down* "AAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!"

(Finally, they landed with a thud.)

Bob: *gets up* "Are you alright, Mimi?"

Mimi: "Yes, I think so."

(Just then, a screen with Haxter's face on it appeared.)

Haxter: "Welcome to the trail of doom."

Mimi: "What's a trail of doom?"

Haxter: "Think of it as a race against time."

Bob: "What are you talking about?"

Haxter: "Allow me to show you. *shows his hostages and the princess on an operating table* You're racing to save them."


(The sight was almost too much for Mimi to bear.)

Bob: "What have you done to them, Haxter?!"

Haxter: "I want to know why Princess Kristina has magic. So I took her as my patient and her friends as hostages. If she were to use her magic, her friends will be painfully shocked."

Bob: *brings up watch* "Not if my disabler watch has anything to say."

(He pressed on a button on his watch, but nothing happened.)

Mimi: *sees the princess in the screen* "My creator!"

Haxter: "Interesting. With her out of the way, the Clever Belovers are gone. Talk about killing two birds with one stone."

Bob: "You'll pay for what you've done, Haxter!"

Haxter: "I don't think so. I've come too far for this to fail. That's why installed several jammers around my lair. As long as they're active, your gadgets are useless!"

Mimi: "When are you going to let my creator and the hostages go?"

Haxter: "That is where this trail of doom comes in. It's up to you to shut down the jamming stations. Once you do that, the hostages and the princess are yours. However, you must get them all by midnight."

Mimi: "We have to be fast, Bob."

Bob: "I know, lets move!"

Haxter: "Good luck." *laughs evilly*


(As Bob and Mimi raced to the first tower, the princess used her secret weapon. She emitted a bunch of quiet squeaks.)

Princess Kristina: *quietly* "Squeak, squeak, squeak."

Haxter: *hears the princess squeaking* "Just what do you think you are doing?"

Princess Kristina: *gives a smirk* "Bringing in reinforcements."

(In no time, a huge swarm of mice arrived at the scene and pounced on Haxter.)

Haxter: *struggles to get them off* "Are these filthy rodents yours?"

Princess Kristina: "They aren't filthy, they're my friends, so I used my ability to call any animal of my choice. Fortunately, it doesn't require magic. I learned that from one of my former loves, who is a commander from a different universe you'll never know."

Haxter: "So he taught you how to be like the pied piper of legend, huh?."

Princess Kristina: "In a way, yes."

Haxter: "Too bad for him, his rodents didn't face me. Because I know how to defend myself."

(Haxter sprays a noxious chemical at the mice from his abdomen. The smell was so bad, that the mice retreated.)

Haxter: *gets up* "Well, it looks like it's time to get back to the business at hand. Let's see how my bot is doing. *turns on a moniter that shows a map of Kristina's body and where the robot is* Hmm, no sign of magic yet."

(The princess was worried.)

Haxter: "Judging by your reaction, I assume you've run out of tricks."

(Princess Kristina nodded fearfully.)

Haxter: "I thought so."


(Bob and Mimi soon found the first tower, but it was surrounded by a huge wall of fire.)

Bob: "Can you put out the flames?"

Mimi: "Yes."

(She inflated herself with water and spat it out to extinguish the flames.)

Bob: "Good work."

(Mimi and Bob went inside the first station and found computer with a keyboard inside.)

Bob: "Something tells me that this must be a way to disable the jammer."

Mimi: "But what's that piece of paper next to it?"

Bob: *picks up paper and reads it* "What has four legs and ticks?"

Mimi: *puzzled* "I don't know."

Bob: *snaps fingers* "It's a dog!" *types in the word and the jammer deactivates*

Mimi: "I understand the four legs, but how did you know about the tick part?"

Bob: "Ticks are arachnids that suck blood from animals."

Mimi: *shivers in disgust* "Eww."

(Suddenly, Haxter Appeared on the screen.)

Haxter: "I see you managed to get first jammer offline. Just three more left and, hopefully for you, the princess will be safe. Don't expect the others to be this easy." *screen turns off*

Mimi: "Looks like we really need to use our heads for this."

Bob: "Yeah."

(The two were on their way to the next one.)
